Assistant Band Director
Sunray ISD is seeking an assistant band director for the band program. The band has a history of excellence and maintains high expectations for the program. The Sunray High School band has made a Sweepstakes the past 4 years, had an all-state band member for two years, and had several students go to State Solo & Ensemble.
Qualifications, Education, and Certification:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred
Valid Texas teaching certificate preferred
CDL license preferred or willing to obtain a CDL license
Responsibilities:
Sunray ISD is seeking a candidate to assist our Band Director at both the middle school and high school band programs. A knowledge of a variety of instruments, marching bands, and concert bands is preferred.
Salary:
The position is paid according to the district step schedule, the stipend schedule, and 10 extra days.
