Role Description

As a Pricing Specialist at Sunrgy, you will play a vital role in our mission by ensuring competitive pricing strategies and effective pricing management. Reporting directly to the National Purchasing Director, you will collaborate closely with various teams to analyze market trends, assess competitor pricing strategies, and optimize pricing structures to maximize profitability and market share.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Pricing Strategy Development: Develop and implement pricing strategies aligned with business objectives, market conditions, and customer segments.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify pricing trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences.
  • Price Modeling: Utilize pricing models and analytics to evaluate the impact of pricing changes and forecast revenue implications.
  • Price Optimization: Continuously monitor pricing performance and identify opportunities for optimization to improve margins and competitiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and product teams to align pricing strategies with sales targets, promotional activities, and product launches.
  • Contract Pricing: Manage contract pricing negotiations with suppliers and customers to ensure favorable terms and pricing agreements.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze pricing data and metrics to identify insights and make data-driven recommendations for pricing decisions.
  • Price Compliance: Ensure compliance with pricing policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of pricing decisions, contracts, and pricing agreements. Generate regular reports on pricing performance and key metrics.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technologies related to pricing management. Recommend process improvements and enhancements to pricing tools and systems.




Qualifications

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze pricing data and market trends
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Finance Skills: Understanding of financial principles related to pricing
  • Customer Service Skills: Focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Sales Skills: Experience in supporting sales activities and strategies
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in pricing calculations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other pricing software
  • Prior experience in the solar industry is a plus
