What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Server position at Sunridge Village Assisted Living & Memory Care?
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for providing quality dining experience to residents in assisted living facility and ensures meals are served according to diet orders.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Greets residents (and visitors if applicable) at table before taking orders or serving.
· Politely and efficiently takes meal orders and delivers them to the kitchen.
· Assures adaptive equipment present for residents who require it.
· Serves beverages, cereals, soups, salads, meals and deserts.
· Assists residents with opening packaging, cutting food, etc. as necessary.
· Delivers meal trays to resident apartments as necessary.
· Busses dining room tables after every service.
· Cleans dining room chairs after every service.
· Vacuums dining room after meals.
· Sets tables for next meals.
· Completes side duties such as refilling sugar and creamer packets, cleaning beverage containers, etc.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to walk three to four hours per day. Also, run or walk rapidly.
- Attends education and training classes, including as necessary to fulfill state or provincial regulations.
- Adheres to Dress/Appearance Code.
- Able to speak, read, and write English.
- Has criminal history clearance per state or provincial regulations (or per Sunridge Village policy if not required by state or province).
- Maintains ability to lift 50 pounds; to stand or walk throughout vast majority of typical 12- hour workday; and to frequently push, pull, bend, twist, reach, grasp, and perform fine manipulation tasks.

Pay: $14.70 - $15.00 per hour
