Associate Veterinarian

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to a variety of animals, including pets. This role requires a strong understanding of animal anatomy, veterinary terminology, and critical care practices. The Veterinarian will work closely with pet owners to diagnose and treat health issues while promoting overall animal wellness.

Duties

• Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose any issues.
• Perform medical procedures such as animal catheterization, vaccinations, and surgical interventions.
• Develop treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each animal.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patients.
• Provide guidance to pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition.
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
• Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities.
• Handle animals safely and compassionately during examinations and treatments.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

• Proficiency in animal handling techniques for various species, including dogs
• Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal anatomy.
• Experience in veterinary critical care is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with laboratory procedures related to veterinary diagnostics.
• A valid veterinary license is required, along with a degree from an accredited veterinary school.

Pay: $100.00 - $115.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 per week
