Delivery Driver/Warehouse

Full Time Warehouse Associate, Full Time Delivery Driver, Full time AM Inventory Specialist, and Full Time Cashier.

$15-$20 an hour, with the option for salary and obtaining 1 week PTO per 6 months of employment for all salaried employees

We are hiring 3 motivated candidates with positive attitudes who demonstrate flexibility when receiving their daily tasks. This is position will have you splitting your time between working in the warehouse and being a delivery driver. All driver candidates must have a clean driving record. No points or accidents that would increase our insurance premiums. Our delivery drivers work solo and seldom have an assistant.

Your first 2 weeks will be spent learning the policies, procedures, and products at Sunrise Cash & Carry. After this successful training period, you will be put on a route with our lead delivery driver for up to 3 days.

Our delivery drivers are responsible for providing quick deliveries within a 2 hour drive of the Raleigh area. Drivers are generally back before 6pm. They are responsible for loading/unloading their 16 foot box truck (provided by Sunrise), checking in all items invoiced to the customer, providing excellent customer service, accepting returns, removing items from the invoice if they are returned, handling the payment, transporting the payment back to the warehouse, documenting & returning with all products not paid for/returned, and driving in safe and reliable manner.

Warehouse associates are expected to pull orders from the warehouse, box and stage orders for delivery, stock incoming inventory, and help maintain a clean work environment. The ideal candidate would also possess strong money handling skills and experience. They will need to be able to quickly process transactions, accurately count cash and outgoing inventory.

Cashiers are expected to count all outgoing items while scanning the customer's order, confirm all products are accounted for, receive, potentially count, and process the payment in a timely manner. After which they will box the order and assist the customer to their vehicle if necessary. You will be scheduled at least 2 Saturdays a month, these shifts are from 10am-5pm.

Clear and concise communication, strong work ethic, and attention to detail is a must for all positions. This job requires repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting. The majority of the warehouse work day has you walking and moving over the span of 30,000 square feet. While almost all of our products weigh less than 25 pounds it does require consistent physical activity throughout the work day. The potential candidate must be able to commute to Garner, NC daily, lift up to 50lbs and be available Monday through Friday 6 AM to 6 PM.
