Sunrise Center Animal Rescue is hiring a full or part-time Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) to support our mission. As a dual cat & animal rescue and small animal clinic, we strive to deliver economical veterinary services while addressing animal overpopulation in our local and neighboring communities. Our veterinary clinic provides essential support to local rescue initiatives, generates funding to combat overpopulation, and offers affordable care options. We offer a positive work culture, good communication with regular team meetings, and a healthy work/life balance.

Full-Time Benefits:

· $80K or more depending on experience

· Paid licensing, dues, and association memberships

· $300 per month healthcare reimbursement

· Relocation assistance (structured)

· Flexible work schedule M-F (40 hours per week)

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Perform exams and assessments

· Perform routine and non-complex surgeries

· Proficient in operating veterinary equipment such as x-ray, dental equipment, ultrasound

· Advise, consult, educate animal owners/fosters/rescues on animal needs & welfare

· Prescribe medication

· Evaluate, create, and execute care plans

· Work as a team player in a new practice

· Others duties as expected of a DVM and/or assigned

Requirements:

· Must love animals, especially cats

· Ready & able to join a fast-paced work environment

· Ability to contribute to practice functionality & growth

· Current & unmarked DVM License

· Interest in large animal desired but not required

· Passion for rescue and lower cost veterinary services

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
