IT Systems Administrator :

The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for the configuration, deployment, administration, and maintenance of Sunrise Community Health's technical infrastructure ensuring all systems operate securely and effectively. This role ensures seamless integration of hardware, software, and network systems while maintaining the highest standards of security and operational efficiency.

Position Summary :

With a Quality , Customer First , and Compassionate approach, The IT Systems Administrator will :

  • Oversee technical environment related to application systems and network infrastructure including new deployments, maintenance of systems, networks, security protocols, hardware / peripherals, and inventory. Manage the MSP- hosted and Microsoft cloud environments.
  • Assist IT Director with contract management and vendor relations.
  • Monitor the status of systems including local hardware, network infrastructure, and cloud environments.
  • Configure, maintain, and deploy o365 environment, MDM, SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, and telecommunications systems.
  • Monitor, enhance, and ensure compliance with industry standards and security protocols including SOC2, HIPAA, and PCI.
  • Ensure system specifications, inputs, outputs, and parameters for hardware and software are compatible with existing systems, promoting stability across technology platforms.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and modify complex information systems to ensure effective operation.
  • Coordinate systems administration tasks, assist with complex requests, and help manage the help desk alongside the IT Director.
  • Provide metrics for online response times, system availability, and performance against established KPI's.
  • Address complex technical issues, communicating status updates to the IT Director, third party vendors and IT Team as necessary.
  • Act as a liaison with the MSP, help desk, and IT specialists to address departmental needs and training requirements for end users. Takes lead on more complex issues with MSP and other vendors.
  • Maintains phone systems for overall organizational efficiency and functionality.
  • Ability to shift between Tier I, Tier II, and Tier III responsibilities as needed.
  • Keep up to date on required system documentation, including changes / updates, inventory, and process files.
  • Schedule and participate in after-hour maintenance and rotating on call support for Saturday clinics.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues promptly.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 6 years' relevant experience, healthcare experience in a non-profit organization preferred.
