The Driver, Drayage Company will be responsible for transporting goods and materials from one location to another using a company-owned vehicle. The ideal candidate will have experience in drayage and possess a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload goods and materials onto the company vehicle
- Transport goods and materials to their designated location
- Ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods and materials
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- 3 Years of Experience in drayage
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Excellent driving record
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
