**Job Title:** Transportation Design Engineer
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Transportation Design Engineer to support our growing organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating innovative solutions for community engineering projects.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and oversee revisions of original drawings and revisions of transportation, municipal, private, and industrial civil engineering projects using Microstation, InRoads, and AutoCAD software.
- Work to ensure that projects are kept within budget, scope, and timeline.
- Market potential and existing clients.
- Keep the client happy through regular communication and ensure that projects are kept within budget, scope, and timeline.
- Mentor engineers, E.I.T.'s, and designers within the group.
- Prepare technical reports.
- Attend and sometimes conduct staff meetings as required.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in engineering coupled with a valid P.E. License.
- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience in transportation engineering projects.
- Proven strong verbal and nonverbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and clients.
- Previous experience with DOT is strongly preferred.
