Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering bread/cake products to customers in the Gilbert/Mesa area in a timely, safe, and efficient manner while providing excellent customer service. You will be the face of our company, ensuring that our customers have a positive experience with every delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Timely Deliveries: Transport goods to customers within the assigned delivery routes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries(12am~12pm).
• Route Planning: Plan delivery routes and schedules to optimize delivery times and efficiency.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional service by ensuring customer satisfaction with professional communication and handling of goods.
• Package Handling: Safely load, unload, and handle packages during delivery, ensuring products arrive in good condition.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Inspect the vehicle regularly, report any maintenance issues, and ensure the vehicle is clean and fueled.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and reports of deliveries made, issues encountered, and other relevant information.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies while driving.
• Problem-Solving: Address and resolve delivery challenges (e.g., address discrepancies, traffic delays) as they arise to ensure timely and successful deliveries.
• Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the logistics team to ensure proper coordination and to update on the status of deliveries.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license and insurance with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role (preferred).
• Ability to lift packages up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs] and navigate through various terrains and weather conditions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage schedules.
• Basic knowledge of GPS systems and navigation apps.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays (if needed).
