Certification Details CST FA RN FA BLS Job Requirements Must have 2 to 3 years CV FA experience Open Heart and Vascular experience Must to be able to endoscopic vein harvesting Schedule Information Shift is 4 x 10's The call requirement will vary depending on if they have vein harvesting skills or not Unit Specific Information Number of Beds – 23 OR suites (4 dedicated CV OR) Number of Staff – 125 Patient Ratios – Type of equipment - EMR - Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for : Must have Cardiac surgical experience in the FA capacity (Vascular only does NOT count – experience must include acting as a FA in on-pump cardiac cases Vein harvesting Preferred or nice to have : Pediatrics List typical procedures performed on unit(s) : Cardiac - CABG, AVR, MVR, Pericardial window, Aortic dissections, congenital peds, etc, Vascular – Fem pop, AAA, AV Fistula, etc Best personality Fit : Confident in skills and knowledge
