Job Summary And Qualifications
The Certified Surgical Technologist – Surgical First Assistant (CSTFA) - CVOR provides aid in exposure, hemostasis, and other technical functions, including saphenous vein harvesting, that will help the surgeon carry out a safe operation with optimal results for the patient. Minimum Qualifications:
Current Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by an accredited agency.
Current Certification as Surgical First Assistant through a nationally accredited certification agency.
High School Diploma BLS certification required
Current Acute Clinical Care Experience Preferred
Current experience in Surgery as a CST
Current experience in CVOR and vein harvesting
