Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking an experienced Medical Records Clerk to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. In this role you will assume responsibility for maintaining patient medical records. Our team is amazing, we consider ourselves a family that works hard to support each other and we are looking for someone who feels that patient care is as meaningful as we do. • You will perform all clerical functions necessary to organize, maintain and assist in completion of patient medical records
• You will be responsible for chart retrieval and reconciliation, chart quick prep, and working electronic queues
• You will update and merge medical record numbers, scan loose sheets, answer phones, and file documents
• You will effectively use Horizon Patient Folder, ADI, Meditech and other software programs required to complete job function

What qualifications you will need:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3-5 months Medical Record experience or heavy clerical experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and others as required
• Horizon Patient Folder, ADI, Meditech experience preferred
