Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide compassionate care to individuals in various healthcare settings, including inpatient facilities, outpatient clinics, and teaching hospitals.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Monitor and report changes in patient health status to healthcare professionals
- Ensure patients' safety and well-being at all times
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare providers
Experience
- Experience in geriatrics, medical-surgical, or critical care settings is preferred
- Familiarity with working in Level I or Level II Trauma Centers is a plus
- Knowledge of operating room (OR) procedures is advantageous
- Previous experience in a teaching hospital environment is beneficial
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
