Account Manager (Operations)
For more than 40 years, Sunrise Landscape, a commercial landscape maintenance, design and installation company, has been serving West Central Florida with a commitment to landscape and service excellence. We are growing and have a great opportunity for an Account Manager to join our Team. This role will be critical to the local Ocala branch while serving the needs of our clients in this territory. This role requires an experienced individual to lead our day-to-day field team while owning the client experience for assigned accounts and will require landscape knowledge. This team member will report to the General Manager of a branch and/or region. We are looking for team members who thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and looking to grow with us.
The compensation for this role will start at $65,000 USD and commensurate with experience. This role is also eligible for an Account Management commission program.
What You Will Do:
- Develop, build, nurture and maintain exceptional client relationships for a portfolio of commercial landscape customers.
- Provide a premium level of proactive communication for clients and internal customers.
- Proactively plan and communicate daily operational plans to ensure leaders and front-line crews execute on the client scope of work.
- Develop and communicate weekly client updates regarding operations and property needs.
- Create all client proposals and build annual and multi-year client budgets.
- Conduct property quality assessments through onsite inspections to keep clients informed of work being performed, work scheduled and other property needs.
- Communicate required Safety requirements and policies with team members; ensure follow up and accountability for disseminating required information. Identify and recommend changes.
- Participate in identifying operational improvement needs at the branch, with the crews and clients to deliver best practices.
- Understand core issues happening at the branch and within crew operations to enhance branch and bring solutions to resolve enabling you to be seen as a valuable resource for operational improvement.
- Partner with internal team members across various Operational departments to ensure client needs are being met – specifically within irrigation and horticulture.
- Own and develop internal team budget.
What You Bring To Us:
- Bachelors’ degree.
- Minimum of 5 years’ of professional experience in a client facing role; prior operations experience at a top commercial landscape organization preferred.
- Familiarity with Field Service Management software solutions for the green industry.
- Excellent track record in establishing and maintaining client relationships.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Proven ability to multitask and juggle several responsibilities simultaneously.
- Ability to travel to client sites within territory in Ocala/Gainesville as needed (a company vehicle is provided and therefore a clean US driving record for the past 3 years is a requirement).
