We are growing and have a great opportunity for a Bid Coordinator to join our Team in Tampa, FL. This team member will report to the General Manager of the local branch. We are looking for team members who thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and looking to grow with us.
The Bid Coordinator is a critical part of the Preconstruction Team. They handle the day-to-day business of importing, and tracking bid opportunities as well as maintaining associated databases. They work with clients, subcontractors and estimators to help develop complete bid submissions. The Bid Coordinator is primarily an office position and reports to the Chief Estimator.
Responsibilities
· Receive and evaluate bid opportunities
· Assist in developing project leads
· Maintain GC Prequalification documentation and update as needed
· Download bid documents and maintain current during the bid stage
· Maintain and manage customer and sub-contractor data base
· Assist in setting up and maintaining CRM software
· Track subcontractor proposals and due dates
· Assist in developing RFIs
· Partner, Communicate, and Plan daily with Estimators
· Assist in maintaining client relationships
· Have a good attitude and work well with others
· Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications
· Strong computer skills with the ability to interface with several management software systems like Procore
· Comfortable in both the office and sales environment of construction projects
· Excellent communication skills
· Strong organization and documentation skills
· Ability to multitask and work in the varying pace of estimation
· Previous experience as a Bid Coordinator or similar position
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
· Bilingual Spanish and English a plus, but is not required
· Landscape or irrigation experience/ construction process experience is a major plus, but is not required
