Job Summary : As a Commercial Small Engine Mechanic with Welding Experience, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of small engines, including those found in lawn mowers, chainsaws, generators, and other commercial equipment. Additionally, you will utilize your welding skills to fix, fabricate and repair metal components and structures on trailers, ensuring that equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities :
- Minimum 3 -5 years experience
- Diagnose and repair small engines, including those in lawn mowers, chainsaws, generators, and other commercial equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on small engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups.
- Troubleshoot and fix mechanical and electrical issues in small engines.
- Use welding equipment to fabricate and repair metal parts, frames, and other components of machinery and equipment.
- Inspect and test equipment to ensure it meets safety and performance standards.
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
- Order and maintain inventory of necessary parts and supplies.
- Communicate with management to provide updates on repairs and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
