Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Marine Rigging Technician to join our team, responsible for the installation and fabrication of various marine components. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both electrical and mechanical systems. You will need to have the ability to work effectively with precision measuring instruments and hand tools. This role requires experience in rigging Outboard Motors, Trolling Motors, Power Poles, Bimini Tops, GPS/Depth Finders, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize precision measuring instruments to accurately install marine components.
  • Rigging & installing outboard motors and other marine components.
  • Organize boats on the lot to maintain a neat appearance.
  • Perform heavy lifting as necessary.
  • Assemble and rig components according to specifications, ensuring proper functionality.
  • Fabricate parts as needed using hand tools and power tools to meet repair requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Move boats in/out of service bays and around the lot, using a tractor.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Must be a team player with a good attitude.

Requirements

  • Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge related to marine systems.
  • Experience with marine rigging is required.
  • Ability to rig marine components & troubleshoot electrical systems.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required in the role.
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 41 per week
