TRANSPORTATION AIDE POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a skilled Transportation Aide to become a part of our facility’s compassionate care-giving team. The Transportation Aide will interact directly with mobility-impaired individuals by accommodating wheelchairs and walkers providing safe non-emergency transport of passengers for medical appointments and treatments. We are searching for a dedicated, compassionate and energetic individual to be a vital link between our patients and the nurses and other facility staff.

TRANSPORTATION AIDE QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. TRANSPORTATION AIDE EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or relevant qualification.
- Possession of a current valid Texas driver’s license or regular means of transportation to and from work
- Must be at least 25 years of age and have an acceptable driving record as verified by the state Department of Motor Vehicles
- Experience with electronic medical records preferred
- Previous experience providing services to persons with developmental, learning, or physical disabilities preferred
TRANSPORTATION AIDE CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Current valid Texas driver's license.
