Sunrise Oral Surgery is looking to hire a temp dental assistant. Our team consists of highly experienced and talented oral surgeons and dentists and a clinical team that's committed to providing the best possible care to our patients. We are eager to learn from you and also teach what we have learned. Our goal is to provide a work environment that encourages the staff to be the best version of themselves professionally and personally.
Pay:
Pay depends on experience.
Hours:
7:45am - 4:00pm
Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take dental x-rays
- Provide chair-side assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients and provide post-operative care instructions
- Assist in administrative tasks such as scheduling as needed
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Familiarity with medical documentation and record keeping
- Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate care
