As a Resident Care Director at Sunrise Senior Living, you will play a critical role in shaping the care and services provided to our residents. You will lead a team of caregivers who are dedicated to delivering exceptional care and support, and work closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the nursing team, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to provide excellent care and services.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans, focusing on individualized care and support.
- Monitor and evaluate resident care outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on regulatory requirements and industry developments, ensuring that our community remains compliant and competitive.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited college or school of nursing with a current state/provincial license as a professional Registered Nurse (RN).
- Minimum two (2) years RN experience, preferably in home health, assisted living, or long-term care environment.
- Minimum of one (1) year nursing management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, scheduling, and daily operations supervision.
- Certified in CPR and First Aid.
