Job Description
The Server is responsible for providing timely and professional meal service to residents and guests, bussing and resetting tables, general cleaning, and completing assigned side work while adhering to all food safety and sanitation requirements and maintaining a safe and orderly work environment.
Takes and delivers food orders in a timely manner. Assists residents with menu selections and responds professionally to questions about menu items. Practices safe food handling procedures at all times in accordance with all, federal, state/provincial, and local laws, regulations, and guidance and Sunrise policies and procedures.
Cultivates a warm and hospitable environment by making personal connections with residents and guests and treating all with professionalism and respect. Complies with OSHA requirements/British Columbia Workers Compensation Act and Occupational Health and Safety Regulation and Risk Management programs and policies, adheres to safety rules and regulations, and practices safety procedures at all times including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), fire extinguishers, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and Lockout Tagout procedures.
