Job Description:
The LPN Medication Care Manager at Sunrise Senior Living is responsible for delivering exceptional care and services to our residents. This role involves administering medication and treatments in a safe and organized manner, ensuring the highest degree of quality care and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administering medications and treatments in accordance with federal, state/provincial, and local laws, standards, and regulations
- Reviewing and documenting resident medication records
- Collaborating with the Resident Care Director (RCD) and Wellness Nurse to ensure accurate medication administration
- Ensuring confidentiality of all resident information
- Reporting any resident concerns or accidents/incidents immediately
Requirements and Qualifications:
- LPN, LVN, or state/province specific licensed nurse credential
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Ability to make choices and decisions in the best interest of residents
- Ability to remain calm in difficult situations and handle multiple priorities
