Responsibilities
- Administer medication and treatments in a safe and organized manner, providing the highest degree of quality care and services to our residents.
- Promote the highest degree of quality care and services to our residents in accordance with Sunrise Senior Living policies.
- Make choices, decisions, and act in the resident's best interest, remaining calm in difficult situations.
- React and remain calm in difficult situations, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and dedication to our residents.
- As applicable, sign the Driver job description and understand the key essential duties for safety and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with seniors is preferred, but not required. A genuine desire to serve and care for seniors is essential.
- A minimum of six months experience working with seniors in assisted living, home health, independent living, hospital or long term care environment is required.
- Decision making abilities and acting in the resident's best interest, ability to react and remain calm in difficult situations, and possess written and verbal skills for effective communication are essential.
