Responsibilities:
- Administer medication and treatments in a safe organized manner
- Document medication administration and maintain confidentiality of resident information
- Conduct Service and Health Updates as directed by the Resident Care Director
- Participate in the development of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and monthly updates
- Transcribe orders and maintain accurate records
Qualifications:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or state/province specific licensed nurse credential
- Maintain certifications and ongoing training as required by Sunrise and state/provincial regulations
- Ability to make choices and decisions and act in the resident's best interest
- Ability to react and remain calm in difficult situations
- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and level of understanding
