As a Wellness Nurse at Sunrise Senior Living, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall health and wellness of our residents. This role requires a compassionate and dedicated individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality care.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved college or school of nursing.
- Maintains a current state license as a professional Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN).
- Minimum of one year of experience in home health, assisted living, hospital, or long-term care environment.
You will work closely with the Resident Care Director and community team to promote infection control standards, including resident testing, training, and skills checks. You will also ensure weights and vital signs are obtained monthly for each resident and maintain medical supplies and emergency kits for the community.
