The LPN Medication Manager is responsible for providing high-quality medication administration and resident care services in a safe and organized manner. Key responsibilities include administering medications, documenting medication administration, conducting SHUs, and providing resident care while upholding the Sunrise Mission.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications to residents, ensuring accurate dosages and timeliness.
- Document medication administration, SHUs, and resident care activities.
- Conduct regular SHUs to monitor resident health and well-being.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident information, including medication records.
- Report any resident concerns or issues to the RCD or Wellness Nurse.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A valid LPN license and certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Previous experience working with seniors, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to make sound judgments and decisions in complex situations.
