Job Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents. As an LPN at Sunrise, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall well-being of our residents, conducting regular wellness visits, and monitoring medication and treatment profiles.
As a member of our care team, you will work closely with the Resident Care Director (RCD) to promote infection control standards, manage resident files, and maintain accurate documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Graduation from an approved college or school of nursing
- Current state license as a professional Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN)
- Minimum one year experience in home health, assisted living, hospital, or long-term care environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, and methods applied to health and wellness resident care
- Demonstrated knowledge of good assessment skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Possesses written and verbal skills for effective communication and the ability to teach and guide team members to provide quality clinical care
- Competent in organizational, time management skills
- Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel), and Sunrise applications
