Medication Care Manager Job Description
This position is responsible for providing high-quality care and services to residents by administering medications and treatments in a safe and organized manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Document medication administration and maintain accurate records.
- Conduct SHUs as directed by the RCD.
- Participate in the development of ISPs and monthly updates.
- Transcribe orders and ensure that all documentation is complete and accurate.
Requirements:
- LPN/LVN credential.
- Certifications such as CPR and First Aid must be maintained.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to make sound judgments and decisions in a fast-paced environment.
