What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resident Advocate LPN position at Sunrise Senior Living?
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medication and treatments to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans.
- Document all medication administration, including any refusals or missed doses.
- Conduct SHUs (Service and Health Updates) and provide resident care while demonstrating the Sunrise Mission.
- Participate in daily Cross Over meetings and conduct Service and Health Updates as directed by the Resident Care Director.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or state/province-specific licensed nurse credential.
- Certifications in CPR and First Aid.
- Able to make choices and decisions in the best interest of residents.
- Ability to react and remain calm in difficult situations.
