Job Summary
The Medication Care Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents. This position requires a skilled and compassionate individual who can administer medication and treatments, review resident information, and collaborate with our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medication and treatments in a safe and organized manner
- Review and document resident information, including medical history and current medications
- Collaborate with Resident Care Directors and Wellness Nurses to ensure accurate medication administration
- Conduct Service and Health Updates as directed by RCD
- Participate in the development of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and monthly updates
Requirements
- LPN, LVN, or state/province specific licensed nurse credential
- Maintain certifications and ongoing training as required by Sunrise and state/provincial regulations
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred
- Ability to make choices and decisions in the best interest of residents
