What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Lead - Resident Care position at Sunrise Senior Living?
The Wellness Nurse is a critical member of our team, responsible for ensuring the highest quality resident services are delivered. Key responsibilities include identifying ongoing needs and services of residents, ensuring proper follow-through and assessment, and documenting pertinent information in the resident wellness file.
You will also conduct monthly wellness visits for all residents, assess and monitor residents who have experienced falls or incidents, and maintain communications with resident's family and responsible parties. Additionally, you will contact attending physicians when necessary and ensure weights and vital signs are obtained monthly for each resident.
As a Wellness Nurse, you will demonstrate proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office, and Sunrise applications, and be able to learn new applications quickly. You will also possess the ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours, available to our customers at peak service delivery days and times.
