Senior Care Coordinator - Medications

Job Summary
The Medication Care Manager is responsible for administering medication and treatments to our residents in a safe and organized manner. This involves reviewing and documenting medication lists, assisting with medication training, and maintaining accurate records of medication administration. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a passion for working with seniors.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments according to the prescribed schedule.
• Review and document resident medication lists and any changes.
• Assist with medication training for new staff members.
• Maintain accurate records of medication administration.
• Collaborate with the Resident Care Director (RCD) and Wellness Nurse to ensure seamless medication management.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Certifications in CPR and First Aid preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors an asset.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
