Job Summary:
As a Medication Care Manager, you will be responsible for administering medication and treatments in a safe, organized manner, ensuring the highest degree of quality care and services.
Main Responsibilities:
- Administering medications and treatments to residents safely and accurately.
- Reviewing and documenting resident information, including medication lists and treatment plans.
- Collaborating with the Resident Care Director and Wellness Nurse to ensure accurate and timely medication administration.
- Maintaining confidentiality of resident information and adhering to infection control policies.
- Participating in training and development programs to maintain certification and licensure.
Essential Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; certifications may be required per state/provincial regulations.
- Previous experience working with seniors is preferred.
- The ability to make choices and decisions in the best interest of residents is essential.
- Remaining calm and composed in difficult situations is crucial.
