Key Responsibilities:
- Provides high-quality care and services by administering medication and treatments.
- Reviews and initializes daily logs to document resident information.
- Receives medication updates from the Resident Care Director or Wellness Nurse.
- Administers, assists with, and observes medications and treatments using the Six Rights of Medication Pass.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- LPN, LVN, or state/province specific licensed nurse credential.
- In states/provinces where appropriate, must maintain certifications.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Ability to make choices and decisions in the best interest of residents.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
