Job Description
The LPN Medication Care Manager plays a vital role in delivering high-quality care and services to our residents. As a key member of the Sunrise Senior Living team, you will be responsible for administering medication and treatments in a safe and organized manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Medication Administration: Administer medications, document administration, conduct SHUs, and provide resident care while adhering to Sunrise's Mission and policies.
- Resident Care: Notify Resident Care Director of resident concerns, participate in daily Cross Over meetings, conduct Service and Health Updates, and develop Individualized Service Plans (ISPs).
- Risk Management and General Safety: Partner with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA/British Columbia Workers Compensation Act and Occupational Health and Safety Regulation requirements.
Requirements:
- Licensure: LPN, LVN, or state/province-specific licensed nurse credential.
- Certifications: CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Experience: Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
- Skills: Ability to make choices and decisions, react calmly in difficult situations, handle multiple priorities, possess effective communication skills, and demonstrate good judgment and problem-solving abilities.
