About the Role:
Sunrise Senior Living is a leading provider of senior care services, and we're seeking an experienced LPN Med Care Manager to join our team. As a key member of our community, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medication and treatments safely and effectively
- Document medication administration and maintain accurate records
- Conduct SHUs and provide resident care that demonstrates our mission to champion the quality of life for all seniors
- Partner with the Resident Care Director to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Participate in daily Cross Over meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs)
- Maintain certifications and ongoing training as required by Sunrise and state/provincial regulations
Requirements:
- LPN, LVN, or state/province specific licensed nurse credential
- Certification in CPR and First Aid
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred
- Ability to make choices and decisions that prioritize the best interests of our residents
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
