We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our team in Skilled Nursing. As an LPN/LVN at Sunrise, you will be responsible for providing direct resident care and supervision of non-licensed team members in the skilled nursing operations and other areas throughout the community as appropriate.
Responsibilities:
- Providing direct resident care, including administering medications, performing wound care, and assisting with daily living activities.
- Supervising non-licensed team members to ensure that residents receive high-quality care and services.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Sunrise's policies and procedures.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of one year experience in long-term care, assisted living, skilled nursing, hospital, and/or full-service operations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, and methods as applied to skilled nursing and resident care.
- Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel), and the ability to learn new applications.
