Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments to residents in a safe and organized manner
- Document medication administration and record pertinent information about residents
- Collaborate with the Resident Care Director (RCD) or Wellness Nurse to receive medication updates
- Conduct Service and Health Updates as directed by the RCD
Requirements
- LPN, LVN, or state/province specific licensed nurse credential
- Maintain certifications and ongoing training as required by Sunrise and state/provincial regulations
- Ability to make choices and decisions in the best interest of residents
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and react calmly in difficult situations
