Job Description
The Resident Care Director (RCD) serves as the nursing clinical leader for our community, responsible for overseeing the coordination of care and services to residents. This includes:
- Managing Health and Wellness: Provide strategic leadership for resident care, managing the nursing team to promote the health and wellness of our residents.
- Medication Management: Oversee the community medication management program to ensure resident safety and compliance with regulations.
- Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance: Lead clinical quality and process improvement initiatives to mitigate risk and improve resident care outcomes.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Graduate Degree in Nursing: A current state/provincial license as a professional Registered Nurse (RN) and a minimum of 2 years RN experience.
- Leadership Experience: A minimum of 1 year nursing management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, scheduling, and daily operations supervision.
- Certifications and Skills: Certified in CPR and First Aid, with knowledge of infection control practices and prevention of disease transmission.
