About the Position
The Medication Nurse position at Sunrise Senior Living offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. As a Medication Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our residents, and you will have the opportunity to work with a talented and dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
Key responsibilities include administering medications, documenting medication administration, conducting SHUs, and providing resident care while demonstrating the Mission for Sunrise Senior Living. You will also have the opportunity to develop and implement individualized care plans, provide education and training to residents and family members, and identify and mitigate risks.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Medication Administration: Maintain accurate medication records, document medication administration, and ensure accurate tracking of medication usage.
- Resident Care: Develop and implement individualized care plans, provide direct care to residents, and report any concerns or issues to the RCD or Wellness Nurse.
- Risk Management and General Safety: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, identify and mitigate risks, and develop and implement safety protocols.
