Sunrise Services is a social services agency that focuses on providing for the unmet needs of vulnerable individuals in our community and honor our employees who serve them. General Responsibilities: Manage community living instruction and support services for participants with developmental disabilities who may also have mental illnesses and sexual, criminal, or other challenging issues. Promote dignity, respect, and a high quality of life for all clients. Manage Health Care Coordinators and Medication Technicians by ensuring the effectiveness of services and compliance with all healthcare needs. Ensure that all clients receive care, support, and assistance in accordance with agency, local, state, and federal guidelines. Coordinate training and information sharing between Direct Care Supervisor’s, Program Managers, the After Hours Team, Staffing Team, Behavioral Team, and Health Care Team. Act as a spokesperson for assigned programs, both within and outside of the company. Work outside of business hours when On-Call and Direct Care Supervisor’s, After Hours Coordinator’s, or other client advocates are not available.

Duties & Responsibilities:
· Advocate for client dignity and respect. Ensure that all of your staff are promoting a People First attitude and complying with client service plans.
· Evaluate and monitor program effectiveness. Report regularly to the SL Program Director on client and staff needs and implementing changes as necessary.
· Assessment and analysis. Initiates data collection and analysis that includes pertinent objective and subjective data regarding the health status of the residents. Responsible for ongoing resident assessment, including assimilation of data gathered from RN’s, LPNs and other members of the health care team.
· Oversee compliance and implementation of appropriate records, tracking mechanisms, reports, and documentation.
· Maintain knowledge of and interact individually with program clients. Consult with Program Managers and Direct Care Supervisor’s as necessary to develop and revise strategies and plans for the most effective care and development.
· Supervise the Health Care teams. Orient, train, and evaluate the performance and behavior of Health Care Coordinators and Medication Technicians. Schedule Team meetings to
facilitate training and information sharing. Assist in the training and performance management of Program Managers and Direct Care Supervisor’s.
· Regularly review Sunrise documents to ensure they comply with client service plans, WACs, DDA policy and promote client power and choice. Ensure that they are being reviewed and updated as needed and that the appropriate persons have signed off on them. This includes documents such as annual consents, fall harm reduction plans or other health and safety protocols, and other necessary documents.
· Transport clients in personal vehicle or when not viable, company owned vehicle to appointments when required.
· Work direct care shifts whenever necessary to ensure required or appropriate staffing. Be aware of different staffing requirements between programs. This may also include medication coverage shifts or nurse delegated medication coverage.
· Have knowledge of and advocate for both client and staff rights.
· Effective time management and ability to self-manage in order to balance regular tasks with emergencies that may arise.
· Must be able and willing to drive in inclement weather.
Requirements:
· Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Social Services or similar field strongly preferred. May substitute relevant experience for education on a year for year basis.
· Experience: 3 years’ experience in Social Services or related field/experience. 1 or 2 years management experience or leadership experience. Experience working with clients with developmental disability preferred.
· Licensure/Certification:
o DSHS background check clearance and federal fingerprinting required.
o Obtain CPR/ First Aid Certification and NAR within 90 days of hire.
o Attend and complete Buzz on Adult Learning and Peer Coaching training course within the first 90 days of hire or advancement.
o Become Nurse Delegated for all clients within 6 months of becoming delegable.
o Complete additional clearance requirements for Community Protection within 6 months of hire.
o Must have a current Valid Washington State Driver’s License and must have and maintain a driving record that meets company driving requirements and policy.
o Attend training required by applicable laws.
Other Considerations:
o At least 18 years of age.
o $50,000 automobile liability insurance.
o Independent and systems thinking.
o Must have reliable transportation or a personal vehicle.

M - F
8AM - 5PM
Compensation:
- $25-$31/hr
- Wages are determined by applicable industry experience, education, and certifications/licensure.
