Sunrise Services, INC. is seeking a Fiscal Tech to join our Accounting Team!

About the Program:
The Supported Living Program (SL) provides community living services for adults with a wide range of disabilities and mental health challenges. The SL program promotes self-determination, independence, and competence for clients.
The QA Fiscal Tech works with clients on a daily basis and collaborates with the fiscal team and QA team to ensure fiscal compliance processes and procedures for the Supported Living Program and its clients.
Essential Functions:

- Greet clients daily and work in collaboration with Fiscal Techs to meet client and program financial needs.
- Model a positive, proactive, and priority-focused communication style that encourages collaboration and allows space for all voices to be heard, with the goal of improving the quality of life of our team and our clients.
- Oversee the day-to-day operational compliance of fiscal transactions.
- Perform QA audits on client accounts to ensure accuracy in client funds management; including bank accounts, ARC accounts, and Burial Accounts. Partner with the QA Program Coordinator with findings.
- Reconcile client’s monthly transitions.
- Partner with QA Program Coordinator with findings.
- Performing monthly reconciliation of loans and allowances.
- QA and send loan/check requests to AP.
- Divide bills for clients with roommates and alternate rep-payees. Send divided bills to payee in a timely manner to ensure prompt payment of bill.
- Partner with staff to determine a client’s specific needs during hospitalizations. Obtain staffed hours approval from DDA CRM.
- Collect and complete the COCA forms and add on requests to ensure timely submission for billing.
- Initiate and oversee the IFP process and budgeting process annually.
- Assist in the re-write of policy and procedures as needed, with oversight by QA Program Coordinator.
- Ensure compliance of ARC requests per policy. Send in ARC disbursement requests.
- Initiate client savings when possible; senior discount, DD discount, UHC card, etc
- Work with QA Specialist to create tools for implementation; TOC, Worksheets, Trackers
- Initiate annual consent form distribution and completion.
- Notify QA Manager of any concerns regarding client financial accounts.
- Process ARC requests, client requests for information or assistance as needed.
- Maintain professional working relationships with DDA, guardians, alternate rep-payees, landlords, service providers, and other members of the community.
- Implement and monitor compliance with DDA/SSA regulations and policies, WACs, and Sunrise Services policies and procedures. Provide feedback to Supervisor and/or Administrator as needed.
- Assist with other fiscal team members’ duties as needed during absence or client site visits.
Essential Requirements: (Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience)
- Education: High school diploma/GED required.
- Experience: Prefer at least one year of experience working with people with disabilities or experience working in a similar industry. Microsoft Office Experience, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification:
- First aid/CPR certification within 30 days after hire.
- Food handler’s card, Registered Nursing Assistant certification, and various other educational classes may be required at different intervals during employment.
- Other Considerations:
- 18 years of age.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Light lifting (approximately 10-20 pounds).
- Operate math functions.
- Knowledge of and ability to utilize Quick books software preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organization, time-management, prioritization, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Creativity, flexibility, dependability, positive attitude, and sensitivity to diverse populations essential.
Shifts:
- Full-time Monday – Friday
- 8:30 am - 5 pm
Compensation:
- 23.00 - 24.50 per hour

Wages are determined by applicable industry experience, education, and certifications.
