About the Program:
The Supported Living Program (SL) provides community living services for adults with a wide range of disabilities and mental health challenges. The SL program promotes self-determination, independence, and competence for clients. The Staffing Manager will supervise the Client/ Staff Matching Specialists to ensure their daily tasks and duties are completed and compliant. Ensure schedules and staffing levels are maximized to reduce the need for overtime. Communicate with appropriate departments to ensure needs and changes are conveyed.

- Ensure all schedules are created in a way to minimize overtime and reduce the amount of DSPs under each CLF/PC.
- Regular communication with the recruiting department about the need for Direct Support Professionals to fill vacancies in the schedule blocks.
- Oversee employee certificates and credentials to ensure they are updated and communicate as they are needed and expiring.
- Assess, track, and schedule all required employee training as guided by the WAC. Track changes to training curriculums. Efficiently track recurrent training. Assess, track, and renew required certifications such as NAR, NAC, and HCA-C certification.
- Track and maintain special program qualifications and requirements as directed by state agencies such as RCS, DDA, DCYF, & WAC.
- Communicate to Human Resources current UKG records for all required and completed trainings.
- Conduct regular employee file audits to confirm accurate and appropriate documentation within WAC and Sunrise compliance. Instruct miscellaneous training classes as needed.
- Ensure all time off and leave requests are processed and communicated to Human Resources and the supervising team of the employee.
- Work with UKG to solve any points in the system regarding its abilities to be efficient with Supported Living.
- Train new Client/ Staff Matching Specialists on the programs used and their duties of their position as they are being hired on.
- Conduct hands-on UKG training and retraining with DSP staff.
- On-call for our Urgent Call Center staff when they are absent and coverage is unable to be found.
- Exercise sound judgment in rapidly changing and challenging circumstances. Respond quickly to unanticipated and frequent shift vacancies. Assess and evaluate shifting client needs as well as the skills, abilities, and qualifications of employees and candidates.
- Ability to work well in a team-based setting, utilizing team coordination and cohesion to ensure the clients we serve have appropriate staffing coverage at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Requirements: (Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or other appropriate field preferred. Two years of experience in human services or in staffing or scheduling field required. Any other acceptable combination of education and experience may be substituted for the above requirements.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a health-related staffing position.
- Other Considerations:
- DSHS background clearance is required.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to approximately 10 pounds
- Skill using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access software. Ability to learn and utilize scheduling and other essential software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be detail-oriented and have strong organization skills as well as time-management, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be creative, flexible, and dependable and maintain a positive attitude at all times.
- The ability to work well with diverse populations is essential.
- Vaccination or face masks may be required.
Compensation:

$26.00 - $28.00 per hour

Wages are determined by applicable industry experience, education, and certifications.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM
