Position Overview:
The Print Production Designer is integral to our production team, ensuring every print project meets Sunrise Signs' high standards for quality and precision. Working with large-format printers (Epson, HP) and key software tools, this role demands a proactive, organized individual with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work effectively under deadlines. Successful candidates will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and demonstrate excellent multitasking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, set up, and troubleshoot print files for large-format printing using Epson and HP equipment.
  • Use Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for file preparation, design adjustments, and quality control.
  • Operate Onyx RIP software to manage print jobs, ensuring accurate color and material specifications.
  • Migrate existing vehicle wrap designs to new vehicle types, ensuring accurate fit and alignment.
  • Send customer proofs for review and approval, incorporating feedback to meet design expectations.
  • Coordinate with project managers and production staff to meet tight deadlines and project requirements.
  • Maintain an organized workspace and adhere to production schedules.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks efficiently to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Adapt to last-minute changes or adjustments with a calm and solution-oriented approach.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in a print production or graphic design role, preferably with large-format printing experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Onyx RIP software.
  • Equipment Knowledge: Familiarity with large-format printers (Epson, HP) and a solid understanding of print setup and troubleshooting.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize based on project needs.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable with fast-paced environments, meeting tight deadlines, and handling last-minute changes with ease.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail, ensuring every print is flawless and on brand.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $31.67 - $34.91 per hour
