Our client, a leading medical devices manufacturing company, is looking for an AVEVA Automation Engineer. This is for an initial duration of 6 months and is located in Marlborough, MA.
Job Type: Contract (Candidates must be able to work on W2 without VISA sponsorship)
Candidates must have experience with:
- Aveva/OSI Pi Historian & Pi Vision
- Aveva System Platform 2020
- Industrial communication protocols such as Profibus, OPC, and EtherNet/IP
- GAMP5 (V-Model) documentation
- Verification test planning and execution
- Cross-functional teamwork, coordination, and communication skills
Taking direction from project lead:
- Generate project documentation for requirements and testing
- Deploy and customize existing software library elements per project requirements
- Perform engineering tests & protocol shakedown
- Perform formal verification testing
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to process equipment hardware and software
Describe the expected materials from the outsourced need (reports, software, designs, equipment, etc.):
- Generate project documentation for requirements and testing
- Deploy and customize existing software library elements per project requirements
