Our client, a leading Medical Devices Manufacturing Company is looking for Biochemist 1 - Scientific Operations and This is for an initial duration of 12 Months Contract – San Diego, CA

Work location is 11214 El Camino Real San Diego CA, 92130
1st shift - 8 : 30am
6 months but could possibly extend depending on business needs

Must-haves on the resume :

Education - min. Bachelors degree in Biology / Chemistry

Work experience - Pipetting, centrifuge, Column purification

Skills and abilities / Experience Responsibility

Work independently to manufacture bead products following GMP and GDP practices

Ensure products are manufactured per the planning schedule

Conduct associate training as required

Cross-training in other areas of Reagent Operations to provide manufacturing flexibility.

Work as a team member on projects following directions from senior scientists or manager.

Support team leadership in the implementation of Company initiatives

Promote a safe work environment.

Notify the supervisor of all observed hazardous conditions or unsafe work practices.

Perform other related duties and assignments as required by supervisor and / or management team.

Bachelor's degree with 0-3 years of experience in science-related field

Bead dyeing and conjugation experience is preferred

The hourly rate range for this position is between $27 - $29 / hour, without benefits

Compensation : Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography / market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Salary : $27 - $29
