Certification Clerk (Resource)

Position Description
The purpose of this position is to provide support to the Certification team and may interact with agency constituents, including education administrators and staff, community members, education partners, and the families of Arizona students. This customer service position is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient processing and management of certification application and records, including: - Data Entry: Accurately enter and update information in databases and spreadsheets related to certification status, applicant details, and other relevant data. - Record Keeping: Organize and maintain physical and electronic files related to certification applications, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations. - Mail Mangement:
Efficiently manage and mail certificates and other documents to applicants. Located at the agency's North campus in downtown Phoenix, this position will be part of a standard office environment and will be 100% on-site, where expected dress-code is business and business-casual (no jeans).
Skills Required This is a full-time in-office position at no more than 20 hours per working week, requiring candidate to be in -office at any point between Monday through Friday, from 8AM through 4:30PM, except State holidays.
Computer: High-level of PC proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel/Word/PPT, Teams, etc.) and database management; multi-monitors Communication: Excellent business-professional verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills, including active listening.
Office skills: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy; ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience Required Previous clerical or administrative experience.
Education Required High school degree, or higher.
