Infrastructure Engineer
Location : Moline, IL Onsite
Duration : 12 Months On W2 Contract
Job Description :
To provide onsite deskside Tier 2 support by performing the following duties :
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform and monitor standard processes or operations that are consistent and highly stable. Typical examples : Imaging computers, replacing printer toner, disposing of outdated assets, and resolving trouble tickets from ServiceNow queues.
- Document recording and distribution of information. Regular interaction with external contacts. Typical examples : Updating assets in Asset Center, following KB articles for problem resolution, and adhering to unit-specific processes.
- Ensure effective email communication and maintain basic documents / records. Typical examples : Contact lists, process logs, problem incidence reports, customer information updates, exterior ship orders, inventory, maintenance, or other service records, and handling standard facilities administration requests.
- Recognize and resolve problems with supported processes or operations using pre-established and documented solutions. Report issues falling outside the scope of established procedures.
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and data supporting processes or operations. Typical examples : Scheduling routine equipment maintenance, ordering supplies, monitoring inventory, updating data records, and interacting with suppliers.
- Apply technical knowledge in supporting processes or operations. Typical examples : Understanding basic printer operations to replace toner and pickup rollers, troubleshooting end-user tickets by following KB articles.
