Planning & Inventory Analytics:
Planning & Inventory Analytics:
- Support buyer/planners by analyzing demand, inventory, and supply data to ensure optimal service part availability.
- Maintain and develop dashboards and reports that monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turns, fill rates, and material shortages.
- Identify patterns in inventory consumption, supplier performance, and demand fluctuations to guide planning decisions.
Process & System Improvements:
- Evaluate current materials planning processes and recommend data-driven improvements using ERP and planning tools.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to enhance the usability and effectiveness of planning systems.
- Assist in system configurations, data integrity checks, and master data maintenance to improve planning accuracy.
Business Analysis & Decision Support:
- Partner with supply chain and cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Tech Services) to gather requirements and translate business needs into system or process solutions.
- Conduct root cause analysis of inventory and supply issues, proposing actionable insights to drive resolution.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Data Management & Reporting:
- Extract, cleanse, and validate large data sets from ERP systems and other tools to support strategic and tactical planning.
- Create self-service reporting tools and documentation for the planning team.
- Monitor and track planning metrics, such as Days of Supply, Safety Stock Compliance, and Excess/Obsolete inventory.
Strongly Preferred Qualifications (pretty much must haves):
- Experience working as a Data Analyst or in an analytical support role within a supply chain or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Looker) for building interactive dashboards and visual reports.
- Working knowledge of SQL for querying and managing data from relational databases.
- Experience using Python, R, or other scripting languages for data analysis, automation, or forecasting.
- Familiarity with Power Automate, Power Apps, or similar tools for workflow automation and process optimization.
- Understanding of statistical analysis methods, data modeling, and forecasting techniques.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, concise insights for non-technical stakeholders.
The hourly rate for this position is between $ 25.92 - $ 33.33 per hour.
